Moving Parts
All moving parts on Brafab outdoor furniture need to be lubricated to extend their lifespan. Examples of parts to lubricate include the slides on extendable tables, gas springs on chairs/beds, cables, and bearings. Common lubricants such as WD-40 or 5-56 can be used. It is recommended to wipe off any excess after lubrication to prevent stains on the product or on the surface where the furniture is placed.
Whether the product is placed under cover or exposed to the elements, the moving parts should be lubricated in spring when the outdoor furniture is brought out, and again before it is stored for the winter—at least twice per season, or more often if needed.
