Product Care

Some good advice to keep your furniture beautiful and even longer. Good luck!

Art Rattan / plastic / textilene

Clean with a damp cloth and Brafab's plastic cleaner or mild detergent. High pressure wash should not be used. Never place hot items directly on the material. Always use glass and glass beads as they may burn with strong sun.

Laminate

Clean with a damp cloth and a dishwasher or all-purpose cleaner. Wipe dry with a dry cloth. Never place hot items directly on the surface, always use coats.

Nonwood

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. High pressure wash should not be used. Never place hot items directly on the material. Always use glass and glass beads as they may burn with strong sun. Depending on the temperature, the table top can move slightly and may bend slightly. For cleaning and treatment, we recommend Brafab multisurface cleaner.

Acacia

All our acacia is taken from certified plantations in Vietnam. To keep the beautiful surface of the furniture, they should be treated with a Brafabolja. New furniture should be saturated with oil. This is done by applying oil several times after each other until as much as possible has been absorbed. Excess oil is wiped away. We recommend that the furniture be treated with oil several times each year, especially in the spring before being taken out for the season.

Painted / laserized acacia

Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Please dry thoroughly. Protect the furniture for rain, preferably with a well-ventilated furniture cover. Wipe the furniture if it has rained on it. If there is a damage to the paint, sand the surface easily with a fine sandpaper and clean from dirt. Before painting the damaged area, first measure a small area to make sure you have the correct color. Contact one
color trade for advice on the right product.

Teak

(Note: The care cord does not apply to white pigmented and gray teak). All of our teak is taken from certified plantations in Indonesia. Hardly cleaned teak is cleaned with wood cleaner. Easier dirt is washed with water and mild detergent. Wet the teak for a while before cleaning so that the surface softens slightly. If the wood fibers remain clean after cleaning, sand the surface easily with fine sandpaper. Allow the furniture to dry for at least one day, finish with Wood protection all. teak oil.

Natural colored brushed teak

Our brushed teak is treated with a wood impregnation and normally only a mild detergent is required. The furniture can be treated with wood cleaner, wood protection and teak oil.

White-pigmented Teak

Clean with lukewarm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth, alternatively with white pigmented soap. Allow the furniture to dry completely, at least one day more, and finish with Wood Protection, which is completely colorless and prevents moisture and dirt from penetrating into the wood.

Gray teak

Clean with lukewarm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth. Maintain the furniture with wood cleaner and wood protection.

Pinewood

All our fur furniture is made of Swedish FSC-certified pine. When the surface is matte and water no longer pearls on the surface it is time to treat the furum furniture. Thoroughly clean the furniture, allow it to dry for at least a day and then treat it with a Brafabolja. For painted pines see care instructions for Akacia.

Wooden furniture - in common

On wooden furniture, the screws may need to be tightened by hand. One tip is to tighten them before placing the furniture for storage and the first thing you do when you get the furniture for the season.

Storage generally for all furniture

Store the furniture protected from weather and wind in a dry, cool and well ventilated area. Make sure the furniture is dry when set aside, please use furniture cover and be sure that the air can flow freely and ventilate the furniture.
