Teak furniture
UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH NATURE
Teak is so robust that it can stand out in the weather year after year and it is so strong that only the smallest dimensions are needed and it will still withstand the weight of a fully grown adult. But for teak to obtain these excellent characteristics, it is necessary to do the right thing from the start. A teak tree is ring-barked and is then allowed to stand to dry on its roots for a period of two years until the tree is felled. Then the sawn teak boards are left to dry for a long period in order to reach the correct level of dryness. For our furniture, we only use teak which has been prepared according to the rule book.
