Pine furniture has always had a special place in our hearts. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that it fits in with the traditional Swedish environments. But how good is pine really when used as an outdoor material? Well, it's excellent, we claim, as long as you treat the wood in the right way so that it can withstand the weather and the wind. We use exclusively a Swedish pine from Norrland which is treated no less than four times. We start by dipping it in wood pine oil, it is then glazed and finally varnished twice. This produces extremely good durability and colour fastness.
