Imitation rattan

WORKMANSHIP TO BE PROUD OF

We have two different types of rattan furniture: natural rattan and imitation rattan. Even if they are very similar to each other to look at there is an important difference. Natural rattan should not be allowed to get wet, and is therefore primarily a material to be used in conservatories or under covered outdoor areas. Imitation rattan on the other hand is a plastic material that can withstand most weathers - in particular if the furniture is manufactured correctly. It is of particular importance that imitation rattan is braided round a frame of weather-resistant aluminium tubing so that the item of furniture can really withstand being left outdoors.
